Tip Top Daddies Are Still Kickin’ It

The Tip Top Daddies was about my favorite band of the weekender. I just love the music my family used to make, and this was it. When lead singer Eric Kinsey of Indianapolis said he thought the band would have to disband, we were both heartbroken. But in August, when he was singing with the Jive Rockets, he said he had been able to keep Tip Top Daddies alive and well, with assistance from Hank Hayes and Steve from the Swing Rays.

This is a cause for jubilation:

Long Live Tip Top Daddies!!

I’m too ignorant to write about what an authentic hillbilly rockabilly group this was.
