Laura Pardini’s book is published!
Fan Weekend saw book signings by Bob Reese and Jim Courtney, visits with artist Kenneth Kendall and the grand occasion of the launching of Laura Pardini’s book about James Dean. Laura signed copies of her book, published just the fourth week of June, 1998.

Laura Pardini’s new book about James Dean is titled Buscando al ángel
It’s in paperback format and most of it is in Spanish. Laura is from Uruguay. Marcus Winslow, the Historical Museum and David Loehr all cooperated fully with Laura on her book. At least five of the pictures are new to the public. It was delightful to see Ortense and Marcus Winslow on their wedding day.
If you couldn’t come to the fan weekend, order the book from Laura at 103 1/2 North E Street, Marion IN 46952. The cost is $30.00 in U.S. money plus $2.00 postage. Laura has been persuaded to get a translation made for her book. She can include it with the book or mail it to you if you already own her book. The translator will be Marcel, her son. This translation is almost finished.
When big-time Dean fan "Krashin’" Kelly Coleman stopped by on her Harley, she was proud of Laura’s achievement. Kelly is especialy interested in empowering women to achieve what they want to accomplish. Laura has met her first goal, to give birth to the book. Now it is up to us to buy it.
