We can't thank Helen Myers enough for all she does for us.... Her quilt for 2004 was a 32 1/2" X 41 1/2" wall hanging of deer in the moonlight, called Night Watch.  Raffle tickets are on sale each year through December 10 for the annual prizes. The winning tickets will be drawn at the Christmas Tea.  You do not have to be present to win.  Proceeds go toward the restoration of the music room ceiling and will also fund projects at Wabash River Rainbow Bend Park near Helen's childhood home.

Purchase tickets from the Limberlost cabin, $1.00 each or $5.00 for six tickets. Email, write or phone.

One beautiful raffle quilt, "Mallards In The Marsh" by Helen Myers was won by Jim Timmons, President of the Geneva Town Board at the dedication of the Wabash River Rainbow Bend Park.

There is a new website address for ------------- who was kind to lend us the use of some of his nature photography for this site.  The new address is ---------------------- (lost my notes)

Author Norma Lu Meehan autographed her book, "Heroine of the Limberlost, a Paper Doll Biography of Gene Stratton-Porter" at the Limberlost State Historic Site.  Although she is not a relative of Jeannette Meehan, Gene's daughter, she cares enough to produce a second book about Gene Stratton-Porter, set in the Hollywood years.  Check with the giftshop, www.tentativetimes.net/porter/giftshop.html
