The 2005 1950's Dance Contest

 

Dale and Ed Smith took first place in both the slow and the fast dance contests!

Jim Maddox and Barbara Clevenger, the middle couple in this photo, won 2nd place fast dance.  In 2004 they won first place in fast dance.

#159, Butch Owens of  Jonesboro and Debbie Roberts from Muncie.  They hadn't planned to enter, but were talked into it by me and by Dan and Diana Taylor.  They put on a great show!

Former winners Dan and Diana Taylor from Hagerstown, Indiana, chose to not enter the contest this year, but they had fun dancing before the contest.  In 2004, they won first place in slow dance.
   Ray Foley, a dance contest judge, is Sally Most's right hand.  Below, Ray again and a second dance contest judge, Jim Alexander.
