The Fans at James Dean's 71st Birthday Party

new Here you are.  Match up which pictures are the Road Rockets Hot Rod Club from Indianapolis,  the Fairmounters, the band and friends, and the bewildered souls who just wandered in for a meal.  Jane Bauer, born the day after Jimmy,  missed the party this year because she had had a heart attack, but she is doing well.  Tommy Tucker missed the party because he was ill in the hospital.  We also missed Aleta Vertuno, Santa from Chicago, Rose and Bernie, Magdalin Leonardo, Bob Reese, RJ and Hazel Mott  and Kris Frailey, President of the fan club James Dean Remembered. Kris lives in Arizona, and this year she got to go to the west coast birthday party hosted by Kenneth Kendall!!!!!!!!  Can't wait to hear her report. Hope we get to see everyone I did and didn't mention at the next Fan Weekend or in September.

san429.jpg (10034 bytes)  Some of us went to the new sports bar/restaurant, the GIANT, whose information I will bring you soon as I finish the birthday party news.   It's next to the mural downtown in Fairmount.  Needless to say, the food is remarkably excellent.

jeff325.jpg (6671 bytes)  Jimmy would have loved the new Fairmount eatery, the Giant.
The biggest debate in town is which sandwich is the best: the house burger or the breaded tenderloin.  Neil Douglas, when you return you can try that tenderloin.  I know they don't have any in London, where you are now in several galleries.
